Discover in this article how to get a porcelain skin with 2 ingredients that are definitely in your locker: baking soda and coconut oil
Are you tired of looking in the mirror and seeing a dull and tired face? We have the right solution for you. You can enjoy bright and flawless skin without having to resort to expensive beauty products. In fact, everything we need is present in nature and does not contain chemical ingredients that could also damage the skin in the long term.
The most expensive product on the market is not necessarily the best or the most effective, and this generally also applies to cosmetics. As for the latter, natural products are sometimes even more effective than those of chemical origin. As a result, instead of investing large sums of money in cosmetics, you could try to take advantage of Mother Nature’s resources.
The mask we are about to offer allows you to achieve an impeccable complexion with a mix of two products that you probably already have in home: baking soda and coconut oil
Face mask with coconut oil and sodium bicarbonate
The benefits of these two ingredients:
Baking soda will allow you to purify the skin and restore its pH level. In addition, sodium bicarbonate has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that can fight acne and blackheads, while accelerating scar healing.
When it is organic, the Coconut oil has multiple benefits for the skin. In addition to its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties, the coconut fruit extract promotes collagen synthesis and protects the skin from UV rays.
These ingredients are already very effective individually, their combination will allow you to maximize their benefits on your skin.
How to prepare this mask:
Note that it is important to know the type of skin to understand its reaction to various products. In fact, it is essential to understand which ingredient is suitable for your dermis and to adapt its application method to your needs in order to optimize the results and prevent any false passages that could damage the skin barrier.
Therefore, if you have sensitive skin add two tablespoons of coconut oil to a tablespoon of baking soda. On the other hand, if you wish to opt for a deep exfoliating treatment use a tablespoon of baking soda for a tablespoon of coconut oil.
If you think your preparation is too doughy for your taste, you can add a little hot water to make it more liquid.
1. Cleanse the skin of the face with a cleansing gel and dry the face with a towel, preferably in microfibre.
2. Apply the mask to the face and neck at a later time, carefully avoiding the area around the eyes. Massage the skin deeply while applying the mask.
3. Leave the mask on for 4-5 minutes. Do not exceed 5 minutes due to the high exfoliating power of sodium bicarbonate.
5. Gently rinse face and neck with warm water and apply the usual moisturizer.
6. In order to optimize the results, it is also possible to use a tonic (such as rose water or green tea) that will further purify the skin before applying the moisturizer.
Please note that you should never apply any product on your skin before making sure it is suitable. To find out if this mask is compatible with your skin type, ask your dermatologist for advice. If you notice signs of an allergic reaction, immediately rinse your face with clean water.
